Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an Associate Data Center Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. This entry-level role offers a solid foundation for growth in data center operations, telecommunications, or technical infrastructure.

You will stage equipment, manage inventory, and assist with rack preparation, cabling, labeling, and documentation under guidance from senior team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and SOPs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–100%.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and stage equipment and cabling.
• Perform basic inventory checks and update tracking systems.
• Assist with rack positioning and physical prep under mentor.
• Install rack accessories and PDUs.
• Support MACD activities under supervision.
• Record serial numbers, rack locations, and installation data.
