Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Jr. Critical Infrastructure Engineer to help ensure 100% uptime for data center operations.

This on-site role collaborates with senior engineers and site operations teams to maintain, support, and optimize facility systems and mission-critical infrastructure. You will monitor maintenance procedures, assist with customer solutions, coordinate with vendors, and help prepare compliance reports while thriving in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in facility operations within data centers, telecommunications, or similar mission-critical environments.
• Familiarity with maintenance management and ticketing software platforms.
• Capable of working in high-pressure, high-availability environments 24/7/365, including vendor coordination and emergency response.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Foundational knowledge of mission-critical facility systems (UPS, generators, mechanical, fire safety).
• Understanding of building automation, energy management and control systems for infrastructure.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management to meet shifting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review maintenance methods, standards, and operating procedures for all facility equipment.
• Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to plan and execute customer solutions, including space, power, and cooling requirements.
• Support daily operations of critical infrastructure systems—power, HVAC, and life safety equipment.
• Assist in generating and maintaining up-to-date facility and compliance reports.
• Provide technical support during customer installations and integrations, ensuring successful project completion.
• Address operational issues promptly to uphold 100% uptime commitments.
• Liaise with operations management, vendors, and stakeholders to implement and track solutions.
