Job summary

CEI is seeking an entry-level Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Philadelphia team. This role focuses on handling customer-facing security cases, educating customers, and helping remediate issues like phishing, SPAM, identity theft, and fraud.

You will respond to incidents, guide customers through resolution, and contribute to improving their cybersecurity posture while adhering to policy and quality standards. A strong customer service mindset and interest in cybersecurity are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills in stressful situations.
• Interest in cybersecurity; pursuing field.
• Basic networking concepts and common threats (SPAM, phishing, vishing, malware).
• Professional demeanor; distraction-free workspace.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve security incident tickets (25–60/day) with focus on customer experience.
• Contact customers to assist with SPAM, phishing, vishing, identity theft, and fraud.
• Educate customers on resolving incidents and improving cybersecurity posture.
• Enforce Acceptable Use Policy.
• Maintain accurate, professional communication and documentation.
• Participate in onboarding and training sessions on CSA tools and identity theft.
• Adhere to daily productivity metrics and performance scorecards; accountability from month 2.
• Stay updated and commit to continuous learning in cybersecurity.
