Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking an entry-level Cybersecurity Analyst I to assist in securing DoD information systems at Edwards Air Force Base. You will help develop SSPs/POA&Ms, perform vulnerability assessments, incident response, and security control implementations under RMF guidance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level I readiness, and a Security+ credential or plan to obtain one. Collaboration with ISSMs, SAs, PMs and engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Information Technology/Information Assurance, or equivalent.
• Security+ certification, or completion within designated timeframe.
• DoD 8570.01-M, IAT/ Level I.
• One of: A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+CE, SSCP.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and analytical ability to work with customers and cybersecurity team.
• Research DoD DoW policies and JT4 policies to produce actionable requirements for Systems Engineers and Operators.
• Support RMF Assessment and Authorization processes and documentation in eMASS.
• Document system designs, configurations, and risk mitigations for risk decisions.
• Notify system administrators, PMs, ISSMs/ISOs of changes affecting security posture and mitigations.
• Support IA/Cybersecurity activities including testing, remediation, compliance, sustainment, and risk management.

Education
