Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a full-time Customer Supply Chain Support role in Farr West, UT. The position supports the customer's onsite operations, coordinates resources, and manages inventory to fulfill orders.

You will engage in various activities to improve supply chain performance, with an onboarding period and potential for a flexible schedule after meeting performance goals. This is an entry-level role aimed at building foundational customer-relations experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management or equivalent industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25–50 lbs (up to 75 lbs).
• Pass the required drug screen (US).

Responsibilities

• Responding and coordinating resources relative to customer requests
• Managing inventory
• Placing and fulfilling orders
• Receiving and shipping inventory
• Executing inventory fulfillment within the customer facility
• Sourcing and quoting new and existing products
• Participating in continuous improvement activities and implementing new business processes
