Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Full-time Customer Supply Chain Support at our Kalamazoo, MI facility.

This entry-level role supports the customer’s onsite supply chain and builds a foundation in customer relationship management and operations with onboarding and a potential flexible schedule after ramp-up. Responsibilities include coordinating resources, managing inventory, placing and fulfilling orders, receiving/shipping, sourcing products, and contributing to process improvements while reporting

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pursuing degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management or equivalent industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Be comfortable in a sales-oriented environment.
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
