Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience in Rock Springs, Wyoming. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, maintaining security of cash and assets, unloading merchandise, and ensuring a safe, friendly store environment for all.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience in retail or service environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities are needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
