Job summary

Mindful Support Services in Mountlake Terrace, WA is hiring a Credentialing Specialist to join our in-office team. You will process insurance applications for onboarding providers and maintain credentialing and compliance files, working closely with Compliance and Onboarding teams to meet tight timelines.

The ideal candidate enjoys detailed data entry and collaboration, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of required compliance pieces, including clinical and business licenses and liability insurances.
• Assure compliance with all state laws, internal policies and health plan requirements as related to the provider certification and credentialing.
• Identify which insurance carriers' providers are in network with and communicate interdepartmentally to ensure accurate information for client placements.
• Ability to answer questions about timelines, delays, and status of credentialing applications as well as compliance requirements.
• Ability to complete data entry with a high degree of accuracy with a positive customer service attitude.
• Knowledge of health care credentialing and billing process preferred but not required.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively and efficiently with team members.
