Job summary

Huntington is seeking an entry-level Analyst to support the CSG Credit Products team in credit analysis, portfolio management, and underwriting activities. The role involves developing skills in cash flow analysis, modeling, industry research, and credit policy while collaborating with Relationship Management, Credit Administration, and Capital Markets.

Ideal candidates hold a Finance/Accounting degree, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required (Finance, Accounting, or related field)
High level of attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Microsoft Excel)

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze financial and business information to determine creditworthiness for loan and credit products.
Complete financial spreads, risk rating, performance tearsheets, compliance testing, and other portfolio monitoring & maintenance activities.
Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies.
This may include financial statement analysis, collateral analysis, financial modeling, industry and business risk evaluation and management assessment.
Conduct industry and market research using numerous resources available; distilling key themes and conclusions into concise summary form for presentation purposes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
