Job summary

Christian Living Communities is seeking a Food Service Assistant to assist the Cook with food preparation and maintain high standards of sanitation. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and customer service skills, with at least three months of experience in food prep.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• At least three months experience in quantity food preparation in a health care facility or hospitality industry preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cook on meal line as needed and/or with grill items.
• Assists wait staff in dining room as needed.
• Responsible for preparing and distributing snacks and/or nourishments.
• Assists with receiving and storage of deliveries.
• Assists with clean-up duties as needed.
• Maintain proper rotation of items from salad bar and refrigerators.
• Ensure items are labeled and dated.
