Choctaw Casino & Resort Durant is seeking an Entry Level Cook to join multiple dining venues. This full-time position offers hands-on kitchen experience under seasoned culinary leaders across venues like Grand Cafe, Salt & Stone, and more.

You will learn prep, cooking methods, and plating while upholding safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Support daily kitchen operations under the Sous Chef.

• Ensure food is properly seasoned, garnished, and visually appealing.
• Follow standardized recipes and preparation methods.
• Taste food prior to service to ensure quality.
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with kitchen setup, service, and cleanup.
• Minimize waste through proper portioning and production levels.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain)
• 6 months of culinary experience OR equivalent culinary education/experience
