The Assistant Project Manager I is an entry-level learner supporting PMs with document control, site coordination, and workflow tasks while learning project management systems and compliance processes.

The role emphasizes learning, accuracy, and collaboration with PMs and project teams on site construction, documentation, and closeout

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• Knowledge of site work construction preferred; internship or entry-level construction experience a plus.
• Ability to learn project management and accounting software such as B2W and ViewPoint required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Attend turnover meetings with the Project Manager to observe scope review and handoff processes.
• Shadow the Project Manager in reviewing plans, specs, and shop drawings; learn to identify scope and deliverables.
• Gather information for buyout package preparation and assist with startup documentation with PM/APM II guidance.
• Gather site-specific details for PUPS requirements and verify completeness with PM/APM II.
• Capture and organize site conditions photos/videos for project folder.
