Job summary

The Douglas Company, a 100% employee-owned construction firm, seeks entry- to mid-level construction management professionals for our Toledo office. We specialize in Senior Living and Multi-Family design and construction, with projects across the eastern United States and a strong emphasis on safety, schedule, and quality.

The role includes cost control, RFI processing, subcontractor management, pre-construction activities, and active participation in project meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering Technology.
• 0-3 years of experience in the Construction Industry.
• Understanding of basic construction methods and materials.

Responsibilities

• Project cost control across all project phases.
• Request for information (RFI) management and tracking.
• Daily coordination with Project Superintendents.
• Issuance of subcontractor contracts and purchase orders.
• Project billing and project closeout activities.
• Pre-construction activities planning and coordination.
• Submittal review, coordination and processing.
• Active participation in project meetings and minutes publication.
• Ensure client satisfaction and maintain subcontractor relationships.
• Recognize and adjust to change; maintain schedule and quality targets.
