Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Greenville, SC is seeking a CMT Staff Project Manager to join our field services team. No prior experience is required as you’ll learn to manage a variety of construction materials testing projects under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will support daily report reviews, budgets, proposals, and client coordination, with growing responsibilities in safety practices, ASTM lab standards, and licensing paths like EIT or PE. ECS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a BS in Civil/Construction/Geology related field.
• Strong communication skills in writing, reading, and speaking.
• Willingness to learn and grow under supervision; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support management of CMT projects with daily report review and client coordination.
• Assist with project budgets, invoices, change orders, and collections.
• Assist with preparation of proposals and perform laboratory testing as needed.
• Collaborate with field staff and supervisors to resolve issues on projects.
