Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking a Construction Helper to support our skilled trades on residential and commercial restoration projects. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who is eager to learn and grow in construction.

No prior experience is required. You will assist carpenters and project leads, transport tools and materials, perform demolition and site cleanup, and help with framing, drywall, flooring, and painting under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Takes instruction and stays on task.
• Follows company guidelines and standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Can read and follow product label usage instructions.
• Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters, technicians, and project leads with daily construction and reconstruction tasks on job sites.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform demolition work, debris removal, and site cleanup.
• Help with basic framing, drywall, flooring, painting, and other reconstruction tasks under supervision.
• Set up and break down job site equipment and safety barriers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Operate hand tools and power tools as directed.
• Follow instructions from lead technicians and project supervisors accurately and efficiently.
• Represent ServiceMaster Restore professionally when interacting with clients and property owners.
