ServiceMaster Restore in Middletown, OH is seeking a Construction Helper to support carpenters and project leads on restoration and rebuild projects. This is a hands-on, physically active role with no prior experience required, just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities include assisting with framing, drywall, flooring, painting, tool handling, site cleanup, and maintaining safety standards on job sites.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Takes instruction and stays on task.
• Follows company guidelines and standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Can read and follow product label usage instructions.
• Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters, technicians, and project leads with daily construction and reconstruction tasks on job sites.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform demolition work, debris removal, and site cleanup.
• Help with basic framing, drywall, flooring, painting, and other reconstruction tasks under supervision.
• Set up and break down job site equipment and safety barriers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Operate hand tools and power tools as directed.
• Follow instructions from lead technicians and project supervisors accurately and efficiently.
• Represent ServiceMaster Restore professionally when interacting with clients and property owners.
