OPC Contracting, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the construction and estimating team in Ohio.

This entry-level role focuses on contacting subcontractors, requesting bid proposals, tracking quotations, and assisting with project coordination. You will help maintain bid documentation, coordinate with project managers, estimators, and clients, and contribute to cost tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in CM preferred.
• Strong phone communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience in construction, estimating, or admin is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Contact subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to solicit bid proposals.
• Follow up for pricing, qualifications, and required documentation.
• Maintain bid lists and subcontractor databases.
• Track and organize quotes, proposals, and project information.
• Assist in preparing bid packages and project estimates.
• Coordinate communication between PMs, estimators, contractors, and clients.
• Review bid submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Update spreadsheets and procurement logs.
• Schedule meetings, site visits, and project-related calls.
• Support PMs with administrative tasks.
• Maintain organized project files and records.
