Job summary

TSS Denver is seeking an entry-level CNC Operator to support production in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will operate CNC machines, verify dimensions with optical comparators and calipers, and ensure part conformance throughout the run.

You will review orders and blueprints, collect SPC data, and may train in other areas as needed. Safety PPE is required on the floor, and the role offers an hourly pay rate with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; at least 6 months CNC machining experience or completion of a trade school machine shop program.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; 5S and Lean Manufacturing a plus.
• Proficient in English communication; able to read blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operates semi-automatic or automatic CNC machine tools with provided programs and setups by others.
• Collects and records SPC data to ensure quality.
• Uses Optical Comparator and measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Reviews production orders, blueprints and materials for accuracy.
• Oversees machine operation during production to ensure conformance.
• May run more than one machine simultaneously.
• Cross trains in other areas as needed.
• Demonstrates alignment with VMV values.
• Other duties as assigned.
