Job summary

Adecco has partnered with a local engineered bearings and industrial motion products company in South Haven, MI in need of an entry level 3rd shift CNC Operator. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and running CNC machinery to fabricate precision parts from raw materials.

Payrate for this role is $22.00/hr Duties include interpreting drawings, program sheets, and process sheets; performing milling, drilling, boring, and related operations; reviewing setup sheets;

Qualifications

• Interprets drawings, program sheets, and process sheets to determine work.
• Performs milling, drilling, boring, or related operations to close tolerances.
• Reviews setup sheet and specs to determine machining sequence and dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Attaches fixture to machine bed and positions work piece in fixture.
• Selects and installs cutting tools in spindle or magazine.
• Loads programs in CNC controller or retrieves instructions from database.
• Manipulates controls to index tools and start machine.
• Changes tools and work piece location during machining per setup.
• Performs inspection and gauging to ensure quality standards.
• Uses override controls to correct out-of-tolerance conditions.
