Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is hiring entry-level CNC Machinists for a world-class aerospace facility in Ogden, UT. You will receive hands-on mentorship in setups, blueprint reading, and precision measurement while working the 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM shift.

Current students or graduates in machining programs and those with basic shop exposure are encouraged to apply. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required, with background/drug checks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or completing a machining/CNC program.
• Willingness to learn aerospace manufacturing and high-precision tolerances.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and operate multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Read aerospace blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Perform basic tool changes, offset adjustments, and quality inspections (SPC).
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized 6S workspace.

Spherion is hiring entry-level CNC Machinists and rising trade talent for direct-hire opportunities with a Global Fortune 250 Aerospace Leader. You will work in a pristine, fully climate-controlled 6S facility, receiving hands-on mentorship in setups, blueprint reading, and precision measurement.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and operate multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Learn to read complex aerospace blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Perform basic tool changes, offset adjustments, and quality inspections (SPC).
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized 6S workspace.

Working hours

• 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Skills

• Current enrollment in or graduation from an accredited Machining/CNC Trade Program.
