Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down CNC and manual machines.
• Read and interpret CNC codes.
• Measure dimensions with precision instruments to verify specifications.
• Replace dull cutting tools and maintain tooling.
• Mount and align tools, fixtures, and work pieces.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and controls as needed.
• Lift work pieces as required.
• Calculate machine speeds and feeds.
