Responsibilities include observing, testing, sampling soils, aggregates, and concrete on project sites, following industry standards and safety practices. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 85 pounds are required, with OSHA 10 potentially

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Willing to develop understanding of CMT principles and ASTM laboratory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Field Activities: Observe, test, and sample soils, aggregates, and concrete at project sites under supervision.
  • Perform routine field tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete following industry standards.
  • Collect data and reduce test results; assist with calculations and administrative duties as requested.
  • Maintain communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers.
  • Receive training in ECS methodology for observations, inspections, and testing.
