Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking Field Technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, and temperature tests, and document results daily. You will verify soil compaction and manage nuclear gauge use on outdoor sites in Texas. Training is provided, and we sponsor certifications like ACI Field Grade I and NICET levels.

The role is field-based, physically demanding, and requires a valid driver''s license. Travel to various sites with overnight stays may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.
• Comfort outdoors in Gulf Coast heat and winter sites.
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable.
• ACI Field Grade I and NICET certifications are sponsored by us.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM standards.
• Run field density and moisture tests.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on site.
