The position emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and adherence to regulatory standards. A High School Diploma is required, with phlebotomy certification and lab assistant program completion preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 18+ if performing phlebotomy.
• Phlebotomy/CLA certification as defined by state regulations.
• Laboratory assistant program completion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist technical lab staff with collection, receipt, and processing of specimens.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and perform waived or limited moderate complexity testing where permitted.
• Report to department leadership and follow established policies and regulatory standards.
