Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an entry-level Clinical Engineering Tech I to perform installation, preventive maintenance, calibration and repair of selected medical equipment under supervision. Based at Intermountain Health LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, you will operate with CMMS documentation and follow safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires basic understanding of medical equipment, anatomy, and troubleshooting, with flexibility to work across hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience working with Medical Equipment or maintaining / repairing equipment.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Demonstrated ability to follow protocols and processes relating to equipment maintenance.
Education will be verified for preferred credentials.
Two years of experience in clinical engineering or an equivalent field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of a limited scope of clinical equipment under supervision.
Utilize CMMS for documentation and audit trails in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Adhere to confidentiality and safety protocols with PPE usage and risk controls.
Serve across various clinical environments including hospitals, clinics and specialty centers.
