Job summary

Leonardo DRS, Inc. in Cypress, CA, is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Technician to support hands-on production, inventory, and lab operations in a cleanroom. Training will be provided for site-specific processes and equipment, with a 9/80 schedule and first shift.

You will perform assembly and inspection tasks, manage materials, and maintain accurate records while following safety, ESD, and contamination-control procedures. Collaboration with engineering, planning, and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent hands-on technical experience is required.
• Interest in hands-on manufacturing and comfort working with small parts; cleanroom experience is helpful but not required.
• Fast learner, self-starter, and able to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom, wear gowning, and follow safety/esd procedures.
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records; basic data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, preparation, inspection, and other manufacturing tasks on small components per instructions.
• Work in a cleanroom, following gowning, contamination-control, ESD, safety, and material-handling requirements.
• Learn new processes quickly, ask questions, and take ownership of tasks through completion.
• Support inventory activities: receiving, labeling, organizing, counting, locating, staging, and recording transactions.
• Provide general lab support: preparing areas, replenishing supplies, and keeping equipment and tools ready.
