Job summary

Golden-State-Assembly,-LL is seeking an entry level clean room technician in Morgan Hill, CA. The role involves working in a controlled cleanroom environment, performing repetitive assembly tasks, and handling light to heavy parts with PPE compliance.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and are mechanically inclined. Experience in cleanrooms is a plus; ability to stand all day and lift up to 50 lbs is required.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as required by production tasks.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Perform Process kit change. Use of hand tools, Handling of sensitive components
• Operate production equipment, ensure product quality.
• Load parts. Start & Monitor equipment operations. Unload and measure parts
• Ability to handle fragile products and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Ability to work effectively without supervision and as part of a team.
• Comfort working in a cleanroom environment, including a cleanroom suit
• Clean parts while wearing full PPE

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and monitor production operations to ensure quality.
• Load parts, start equipment, monitor operations, unload and measure parts.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces following 5S standards and PPE protocols.
• Work collaboratively within a team to meet production targets.

Work Environment

This role is based primarily in a controlled cleanroom environment, where you may work in a cleanroom suit (bunny suit) for all or most of your shift,. The position involves standing for periods, performing repetitive tasks, and handling both light items. The work environment follows strict safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards, and requires consistent use of personal protective equipment, including coveralls, boots, hairnets or headcovers, face mask, and gloves.

• Experience with inspection of parts and products in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with packaging, bagging, tagging, and labeling products for shipment or further processing.
• Familiarity with semiconductor or similar high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Ability to perform basic computer data entry for production and quality records.
• Experience working under 5S standards and general production best practices.
• General labor and general production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to maintain clean and organized workspaces and follow strict cleanroom requirements.
