Aerotek is seeking an entry-level Cleanroom Technician / Entry-Level Machine Operator in Buffalo Grove, IL. This role involves operating production equipment in a cleanroom to support molding, assembly, and packaging, with direct on-the-job training on your shift.

You will follow GMPs, perform inspections, and document activities to ensure products meet customer specifications. This fully onsite position operates on a 12-hour rotating schedule with potential contract-to-hire progression.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding, assembly, or packaging equipment in accordance with defined product and process specifications.
• Package and label products accurately based on customer requirements and documentation.
• Perform thorough visual inspections of products to identify defects and verify compliance with customer specifications.
• Promptly report any visual defects or quality concerns to the designated Cell Leader.
• Complete all required production and workstation documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow cleanroom procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices to maintain a controlled and compliant environment.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting and participating in process enhancements to eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Work effectively within a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, maintaining productivity and attention to detail throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with team members and support a safe, organized, and efficient production area.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.45/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
