Utica National Insurance Group is seeking an entry-level Claims Support professional to assist the Claims Department with administrative tasks, document processing, and data summaries onsite at the New Hartford, NY office.

You will gain exposure to Guidewire ClaimCenter and Power BI, develop organization and communication skills, and contribute to efficient claims workflows while learning and growing in a hands-on environment.

Formación

• Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2 years working in a Claims environment preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with Excel; computer savvy with ability to learn new systems (Guidewire ClaimCenter; PowerBI).
• Strong sense of initiative.

Responsabilidades

• Process and mail any necessary documents, checks, and letters to be sent to relevant parties, as requested by the Claims staff.
• Request and obtain relevant documentation for a claim as requested by the Claims staff and ensure timely follow up.
• Liaise with other departments to acquire information and relay to relevant parties.
• Perform work within vendor web portals and submit tickets as needed to address any systems issues.
• Read, interpret, and summarize data reports for Claims Staff.
