Entry Level Civil/Structural Drafter (Transmission Line)

Job Overview

Gannett Fleming is seeking an Entry Level Civil/Structural Drafter to join our Power Team in Monroeville, PA. This hybrid role requires regular attendance at our Monroeville office. You will support electric utility and power transmission line projects, working directly with experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide drafting support to transmission line engineers and senior drafters/designers
• Prepare and develop construction packages
• Create plan and profile drawings using PLS-CADD software exports
• Develop structure detail and assembly drawings
• Develop loading drawings referencing calculations from engineers
• Develop structure reinforcement and modification details
• Ensure adherence to client drafting standards

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of drafting experience
• Experience with general arrangements, structure details/reinforcements, and assemblies
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

Preferred Skills

• Microstation experience (preferred)
• Experience with PLS-CADD software (preferred)
• Knowledge of transmission assemblies (preferred)

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000, dependent on experience and location.
