VHB seeks graduating Civil Engineering graduates to join our Richmond office and start their careers in Land Development and Planning & Design. You will collaborate with professionals across disciplines on diverse projects for commercial, residential, industrial and institutional clients, including government agencies.

This is a growth-oriented opportunity in a supportive team with exposure to real-world projects and advanced design tools.

Competenze

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• 0-1 years of engineering experience preferred.
• AutoCAD, HydroCAD and StormCAD experience is a plus.
• Competent with Microsoft Office products.

Mansioni

• Develop site civil engineering plans and specs for complex land development projects.
• Design and permitting of residential, industrial, hospitality, institutional and commercial sites including grading, drainage, utilities, roadways and parking.
• Prepare plans and reports in support of State and local permitting.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of complex land development projects
• Civil engineering design and permitting of residential, industrial, hospitality, institutional and commercial sites including grading and drainage, utilities,roadways and parking
• Preparing plans and reports in support of State and local permitting

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field
• 0-1 years of engineering experience
• AutoCAD, HydroCAD and StormCAD experience (preferred)
• Competent with Microsoft Office products

The full-time annual base salary range for this position, located in Virginia, is $77,000 to $79,000. The base salary offered will be determined based on job-related factors, including geographic location, internal equity, experience, credentials, skills, education, work schedule, and other factors permitted by law. The posted salary range reflects base pay only. Additional compensation and benefits available to eligible employees are outlined in our Total Rewards Program.

Annual base salary is one component of VHB’s Total Rewards package. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may receive annual incentive compensation bonuses, spot bonuses, and merit-based salary increases, providing opportunities to increase earnings beyond base pay.
