Bohannan Huston Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer (EI) to join the Surface Water Engineering Group and begin a career shaping water infrastructure projects.

You will contribute to hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, design and modeling, and project documentation, with mentorship and hands-on training to accelerate your growth as you support budgeting and construction estimating.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Engineer Intern (EI) certification is required; 0–4 years of surface water hydrology and hydraulics experience preferred.
• Proficiency with listed design and analysis tools (AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM, ArcGIS) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hydrologic & Hydraulic Analysis – conduct studies for sustainable water management.
• Engineering Design & Modeling – develop engineering solutions using industry tools.
• Project Documentation & Reporting – assist in preparing technical reports and project plans.
• Construction Cost Estimating – support budgeting and planning efforts.
