Job summary

O&M Consulting Engineering, PSC is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to support transportation projects from concept to final design, contributing to plan production, cost estimates, and bid packages. A proactive team player with a strong engineering foundation is required.

The role emphasizes Civil 3D and AutoCAD experience, collaboration with engineers and designers, and on-site presence at offices or job sites; a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering is required, with EIT preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
0-5 years of engineering-related experience in preferred.
EIT Certification (Preferred but not required).
Knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD is preferred.
Skills to learn and apply engineering concepts.
Roadway geometric design & Plans Production knowledge in preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the production of plans for transportation-related projects from preliminary to final design, including specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages.
Work with a team of engineers and designers on projects (Puerto Rico) and be proactive, resourceful and self-motivated.
Presence at the designated office or job site is necessary to fulfill the requirements of this position.
