The candidate will support design and analysis of municipal projects, develop plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and grow through continued learning and client collaboration.

Qualifications

• BSCE/ME degree preferred or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of experience in consulting civil engineering, surveying, or construction.
• EIT/EI preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Work on municipal infrastructure and civil projects within a project team.
• Prepare civil engineering design documents for site development and roadways.
• Develop grading, drainage and utility plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform calculations for stormwater management and hydraulics.
• Assist with construction drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Attend site visits and liaise with clients and contractors.

As a Civil Engineer You Will

• Work on municipal infrastructure and civil engineering projects within an assigned team
• Complete assignments with direction from the project engineer or project manager
• Prepare civil engineering design documents for site development, roadway, utility, drainage, and municipal infrastructure projects
• Develop grading, drainage, erosion control, utility, and roadway plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Perform engineering calculations related to stormwater management, hydraulics, and site design
• Assist with preparation of construction drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates
• May attend site visits with project engineer or project manager at meetings with clients and contractors
• May be responsible for construction observation and limited administration
• Read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Demonstrate strong writing and communication skills
• Increase knowledge through continuous learning within and outside the organization including pursuit of an advanced engineering degree

Requirements

• BSCE/ ME (preferred)
