Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join its Riverside, CA team. You will assist with planning, design and permitting of civil and land development projects, gaining exposure to mixed-use, residential and institutional sites.

Responsibilities include preparing reports and design plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, analyzing soil and hydrology data, and collaborating with engineers and architects to advance project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and FE/PE aspirations preferred.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• EIT certification or FE exam registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, plans, schedules, estimates and designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related tools.
• Analyze soil, hydrological and topographical data to support planning and design decisions.
• Suggest new approaches to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics to project tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and perform other duties as requested.
