EMH&T is seeking a Civil Engineer (EI) to join our Public Works team in Columbus, OH. EIs work under experienced Engineers and PMs who provide mentorship and support throughout your career development.

Responsibilities include preparing conceptual plans, exhibits, and plan sets, as well as grading, utility plans, storm sewers, and roadways following local standards. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 0–4 years of experience; internships or co-op experiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0–4 years of experience; internships or co-op acceptable.
• Experience in civil, construction, or related area; exposure to consulting environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual plans, exhibits, and plan sets.
• Develop plan and profile drawings, grading, utility plans, and roadways.
• Coordinate and oversee work prepared by others; assist with design calculations and plan reviews.
