Job summary

Egis in the U.S. is seeking entry-level civil engineers to join our Indiana teams. You will support transportation design projects for public and private clients and gain exposure to a broad range of infrastructure disciplines.

You'll work with multi-disciplinary teams, develop 3D roadway models, and perform pavement and drainage calculations while pursuing professional licensure. We value collaboration, growth, and delivering sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• 0–4 years in transportation engineering.
• Familiarity with OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred).
• Working knowledge of DOT standards (preferred).
• Strong communication and collaboration with in-person/remote teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex transportation design projects in Indiana.
• Create horizontal and vertical alignments and develop detailed 3D roadway models
• Perform engineering calculations for pavement design, traffic engineering, and drainage systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prepare high-quality deliverables including design drawings, reports, specifications, presentations, and cost estimates
• Provide construction phase support by reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and responding to contractor questions
• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing roadways and drainage systems
• Maintain thorough and organized project documentation
