Job description

YU & Associates is currently searching for an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our site/civil department in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. The individual will work on site and airport design, as well as designing mixed-use developments, residential, higher education, and other land development projects. This position involves collaborating as part of an integrated design team and coordinating civil design with other disciplines to meet project schedules and budgets, working directly under licensed Engineers.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required; master's degree preferred.
2. EIT certification is strongly preferred.
3. Basic proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, strong technical skills, and the ability to learn quickly.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
5. Knowledge of MicroStation is a plus.
6. Strong written and oral communication skills.
7. Ability to work efficiently under strict schedules, independently or in a team.
8. Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
9. Understanding of basic engineering principles and research practices.
10. Own transportation and a valid driver’s license.
11. Field and office assignments as required.

SALARY RANGE: $68,000 - $82,000
