Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences required.
• Two years of college coursework including 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences required.
• Two years experience as County Social Services Aide 3 or similar paraprofessional case management functions required.

Responsibilities

• Guide children and families through challenges to improve home stability.
• Learn community services and help clients complete necessary forms.
• Work with coworkers to reach positive outcomes for families.
• Apply laws and policies to support safe and appropriate resolutions.
• Support individuals with varied physical, emotional, and economic needs.

Education
