Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center is seeking Behavior Technicians to deliver in-home ABA therapy to children across Fontana, CA. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and clinical support to help you begin a career in behavioral health.

You'll work under BCBA supervision, building communication, social, and daily living skills through personalized sessions. The position suits those who value growth, mentorship, and meaningful family partnerships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with children is a plus but not required.
• Available a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Afternoon/evening availability 1:00 PM–8:00 PM.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance/registration.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles for client sessions.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable learning data collection and behavior intervention techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies.
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress.

• Attend ongoing training and team meetings.

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center provides training and clinical support to help qualified individuals begin their careers as Behavior Technicians. What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that helps children with autism and other developmental disabilities learn meaningful skills that support greater independence in their everyday lives.

Through personalized, engaging sessions, Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with children to strengthen communication, social, play, coping, and daily living skills. Using positive reinforcement and individualized strategies, they also help children develop safer and more effective ways to navigate challenging behaviors.

What You'll Do

As a Behavior Technician, you will:

• 2-5 hours per session
• Children primarily ages 3-17 years
• Afternoon and evening schedules
