Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center is seeking dependable Behavior Technicians to provide in-home ABA therapy to children in Pomona, CA. You will deliver one-on-one sessions, implement plans from BCBA supervision, and help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role emphasizes data collection, professional communication with families, and ongoing training with a supportive clinical team. Evening availability and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

What Is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children with autism and developmental disabilities develop important communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.

Using positive reinforcement and individualized teaching strategies, Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with children to encourage skill development, increase independence, and support meaningful progress in their everyday lives.

What You'll Do

Typical Sessions

• 2-5 hours per session
• Children primarily ages 3-17 years
• Afternoon and evening schedules

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Experience working with children is a plus, but not required
• Available a minimum of 15 hours per week
• Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles from your home for client sessions
• Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills
• Comfortable learning data collection and behavior intervention techniques
