Job summary

Viltis seeks an entry-level Chemist I to support production of materials for immunology-based chromatography and enzyme diagnostic tests. You will manufacture bioreagents, perform in-process QC testing, and maintain lab documentation in a regulated environment.

This on-site contract role is ideal for recent chemistry or life sciences graduates, or an associate-degree candidate with relevant lab experience, aiming to gain hands-on experience in diagnostics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or related field; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Associate degree with 1–2 years of lab experience or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education and laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain established manufacturing and production schedules.
• Prepare bioreagents used in diagnostic products and processes.
• Follow SOPs, manufacturing instructions, and laboratory protocols.
• Perform in-process quality control testing and materials qualifications.
