Job summary

Kinsley Construction is seeking entry-level trainees in York, PA to learn carpentry and concrete trades from site preparation to finishing. The role involves physically demanding outdoor work, following instructions, and ensuring safety and accuracy on each project.

Ideal candidates are able to pass DOT pre-employment screening, have a HS diploma or GED, and are willing to work overtime or weekends based on project needs. This position is safety sensitive per company policy.

Qualifications

• Experience with carpentry or concrete is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic plans and instructions.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Use various hand and power tools.
• Operate power tools and equipment following safety policies and procedures.
• Assist crew as needed and follow oral and written instructions.
• Help with demolition, excavation and site cleanup.
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety protocols.
• Stand, bend, kneel, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Follow blueprints and building plans.
• Perform other related duties as required.
