Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in card services, credit card operations, or financial services.
• Understanding of Visa rules, Reg E/Reg Z.
• Proficiency in card processing systems and dispute management platforms.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day card services operations, including debit and credit card transactions, authorizations, and settlement processes.
• Serve as back up with card dispute and chargeback processing in accordance with network rules and regulatory requirements (e.g., Reg E, Reg Z).
• Monitor card activity for trends, exceptions, and potential fraud or operational concerns.
• Prepare and maintain routine reports related to card usage, losses, disputes, and operational metrics.
• Assist with data analysis, reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting requests.
• Support card program initiatives and projects, including product enhancements, vendor coordination, and system updates.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and streamline processes.
• Respond to internal inquiries from branches, contact center staff, and back-office teams regarding card services.
• Provide training to front office staff periodically on card services related topics.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to card transactions, account discrepancies, and chargebacks, ensuring timely resolutions.
