Job summary

Arora and Associates, P.C. in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a CAD Technician to join an interdisciplinary design team. You will organize and maintain CADD files and prepare construction plans in accordance with transportation agency standards.

The role requires 0-3 years of CADD experience, proficiency with Microstation or AutoCAD, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver accurate, timely results. Travel to other offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, vocational school or military training certificate in Engineering Graphics or related field.
• Entry level to 3 years of progressive experience preparing engineering plans using CADD.
• Proficiency with Microstation or AutoCAD software.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, and be committed to completing assignments accurately and on time.

• Prepare color plans for proposals
• Prepare color displays for public meetings
• Work closely with CADD coordinator and CADD staff
• Perform quality control tasks such as checking work of CADD technicians
• May require occasional travel to other Arora offices for temporary assignments
