Job summary

Arora and Associates, P.C. in Illinois is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineering Designer to join an interdisciplinary design team supporting highway transportation projects.

You will collect data, perform analyses, prepare sketches and drawings with Microstation or AutoCAD, and contribute to design reports and field investigations, gaining exposure to AASHTO standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD, Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with highway and traffic engineering design standards such as the Highway Capacity Manual, AASHTO Highway Safety Manual, AASHTO Greenbook or the MUTCD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Engineer-in-Training certificate holder preferred.

• Cooperate and coordinate with other design team members
• Review contractor submittals such as working drawings and RFIs

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering
