Job summary

Team Fishel, the Best Choice in Utility Engineering, is hiring a full-time, in person, entry level CAD Survey Technician I based in our Stafford, VA office. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for supporting Team Fishel's Telecom Survey division with drafting duties.

This position supports the generation of base maps and exhibits in support of our Design and Construction work groups. Specific survey related training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Availability to work 40+ hours a week.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail with ability to self-QA/QC.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct survey computations for boundary, topo, and construction stakeout work.
• Process daily field data from field crews.
• Draft easement exhibits and survey base maps.
• Collaborate and communicate with office staff and field crews.
