Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on fabrication.
• Experience using CAD through coursework or internship.
• Ability to read measurements and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and work on-site.
• Reliable attendance in Peoria, IL.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with fabrication, modification, and repair tasks.
• Prepare materials, supplies, tools, and work areas per instructions.
• Update digital fabrication files in CAD following procedures.
• Mix and pour plaster; prepare molds and positive models under supervision.
• Measure, cut, trim, sand, and finish assigned materials after instruction.
• Learn thermoplastic forming and component assembly as training progresses.
• Use hand tools and machinery only after training and authorization.
• Check work against instructions and raise questions or concerns as needed.
• Record completed tasks and communicate progress to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean workspace; follow safety and company procedures.
