Job summary

SAIC is seeking an Entry Level CAD Laborer to support the US Navy in Hanahan, SC. You will provide design and drafting support to create large assembly models and drawings, focusing on GFE and military C4ISR related integration.

The role involves creating 2D/3D drawings, coordinating with engineers, and potentially traveling to the customer facility to develop mounting solutions. Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Active DoD clearance accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide drafting support to complete large complex parts, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
• Drafting and documentation of equipment racks, mounting kits, and subassemblies.
• Create detailed drawings/designs using SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD for Technical Data Packages (TDP).
• Create/modify solid models and assemblies and maintain configuration of drawings.
• Understand and apply Engineering Drawing Standards Guide (EDSG) and MIL-STD-31000.
• Utilize CM tools like Windchill for tasking storage and workflows.
