Job summary

The CAM Operator I contributes to the preparation of CAM programs for individualized dental prosthetic products, including crowns, bridges, overdenture bars, implant components, and surgical templates. Working with industry-standard CAD/CAM software such as Powermill, Hypermill, and Magics, this role supports the file review and setup process to ensure regulatory and production requirements are met.

Under close guidance, the CAM Operator I develops technical proficiency and builds expertise

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or vocational education required.
• Willingness to learn code programming fundamentals (Fanuc, Heidenhain).
• Experience with CAD/CAM software or CNC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing CAM files using designated software (e.g., Powermill, Magics, Hypermill).
• Learn and follow SOPs to ensure consistent quality.
• Review incoming customer orders for completeness and basic design compliance.
• Support milling operation by prepping files for production.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry via internal systems (e.g., SAP).
